SMASHING MAGAZINE is a wonderful resource for design, web design, inspiration, freebies, tutorials and more. I became aware of their Monthly Desktop Wallpaper Contest recently and decided to give it a shot. They feature around 40 or so each month from around the world, and I am most happy to say that my submission was one of the ones chosen for July 2009.
